Cool, refreshing recipes made to sweeten even the hottest summer days. ☀️🍑🫐

Firestone 805 Peach & Honey Granita 🍑🍺
A light, sparkling frozen treat for the hottest days of an Idaho summer. Ripe peaches, golden honey, lemon, and Firestone 805 freeze into delicate crystals that melt almost instantly on the tongue.
Serves 6
Ingredients
3 large ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
1 can Firestone 805
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Fresh peach slices and mint for serving
Optional: lightly sweetened whipped cream
Directions
Blend the peaches, honey, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt until completely smooth.
Pour the mixture into a shallow freezer-safe dish. Slowly stir in the Firestone 805, allowing the foam to settle.
Freeze for about 45 minutes. Scrape the partially frozen mixture with a fork, breaking up any ice around the edges.
Return it to the freezer and scrape again every 30–45 minutes for approximately three hours, until it forms soft, fluffy crystals.
Spoon into chilled glasses or dessert dishes. Garnish with fresh peach, mint, and a small cloud of whipped cream if desired.
The beer brings a gentle malt flavor that deepens the peaches without making the dessert heavy. It is cold, golden, and refreshing—a little taste of an Idaho summer evening after the heat finally begins to loosen its hold. 🍑☀️✨

Idaho Peach & Blackberry Sangria Pops 🍑🫐☀️
A cooling grown-up treat for August afternoons in Southwest Idaho, made with ripe peaches, dark berries, lemon, and Franzia Crisp White wine. The fruit keeps the pops bright and juicy, while the wine adds a light sangria flavor without making them overly sweet.
Makes 10 frozen pops
Ingredients
1½ cups ripe peaches, peeled and diced
¾ cup fresh blackberries
1 cup Franzia Crisp White wine
½ cup peach nectar
¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
2–3 tablespoons honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Small pinch of salt
Thin peach slices and a few blackberries for the molds
Optional: 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh basil
Directions
Place the diced peaches, blackberries, white wine, peach nectar, lemon juice, honey, vanilla, and salt in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Taste the mixture and add another spoonful of honey if the fruit is tart. Stir in the basil, if using.
Place a thin peach slice and one or two blackberries inside each frozen-pop mold.
Pour in the sangria mixture, leaving a little room at the top for expansion. Insert the sticks and freeze for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.
Run the outside of each mold briefly under cool water to release the pops.
These frozen sangria pops taste like the final golden weeks of an Idaho summer—sun-warmed peaches, berry brambles, and the welcome relief of something cold as the August heat settles over the valley. 🍑🌿
For adults 21 and older. Because alcohol freezes more softly than juice, keep the pops frozen until immediately before serving.
