This round of Fresh New Deals brings the first flavors of fall to the table. 🍎🍂 Start with Angry Orchard Apple Cider Pork Chops, pan-seared and finished with tender apples, onions, and a savory cider-Dijon sauce. Then pour a glass of Bota Box Caramel Apple Sangria, filled with crisp apples, cider, cinnamon, and just enough caramel sweetness to welcome the changing season.
Two early-fall favorites made for that unmistakable September space between warm Idaho afternoons and cooler evenings around the table.
A little apple, a little autumn, and a delicious way to welcome the season ahead. 🍎🍂🥂

🍎 Angry Orchard Apple Cider Pork Chops
Savory, lightly sweet, and made for the first cooler evenings of September. Juicy pork chops are pan-seared until golden, then finished with crisp apples and onions in a tangy cider-Dijon sauce made with Angry Orchard.
Ingredients
4 boneless or bone-in pork chops
Salt and black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 large crisp apple, thinly sliced
½ medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Âľ cup Angry Orchard hard cider
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves, plus more for garnish
½ cup chicken broth
1 tsp honey or brown sugar, optional
1 tbsp butter, for finishing
Instructions
Pat the pork chops dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for about 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until nicely browned. Remove and set aside.
Add the sliced apple and onion to the skillet. Cook for 4–5 minutes, until they begin to soften and caramelize.
Add garlic and thyme and cook for about 30 seconds.
Pour in the Angry Orchard, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in Dijon mustard, chicken broth, and honey or brown sugar if you'd like a slightly sweeter sauce.
Return pork chops to the skillet. Reduce heat and simmer until the pork reaches 145°F in the center and the sauce has reduced slightly.
Remove from heat and swirl in the remaining tablespoon of butter. Spoon the apples, onions, and cider sauce over the pork and garnish with fresh thyme.
Serving idea: Pair with roasted baby potatoes, mashed potatoes, or a simple green salad.
🍎 Why the Angry Orchard works: The crisp apple flavor adds a bright, slightly sweet acidity that complements the savory pork while helping create a rich pan sauce with the Dijon, caramelized onions, and fresh apples. 🍎🌿🥂

🍎 Harvest Apple Sangria
A bright, refreshing sangria for that September threshold when the afternoons are still warm but fall flavors are beginning to return. Crisp apples, white wine, apple cider, and cinnamon bring just enough harvest flavor without making the drink heavy or overly sweet.
Ingredients
1 bottle-equivalent (750 ml) Bota Box Pinot Grigio
1½ cups fresh apple cider
½ cup brandy
1 red apple, thinly sliced
1 green apple, thinly sliced
½ orange, thinly sliced
1 cinnamon stick
1 cup chilled sparkling water
Ice
Fresh apple slices for garnish
Instructions
Combine the Bota Box Pinot Grigio, apple cider, brandy, apples, orange, and cinnamon stick in a large pitcher.
Stir gently and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 6 hours, to allow the fruit and cinnamon to infuse.
Just before serving, remove the cinnamon stick and add the chilled sparkling water.
Serve over ice with plenty of fresh fruit and garnish each glass with an apple slice.
🍷 Why the Bota Box works: The crisp, refreshing character of Pinot Grigio keeps the apple cider bright rather than overly sweet, while its fruit-forward notes blend naturally with fresh apples, citrus, and a hint of cinnamon. 🍎🍊🍷
