Cheddar & Apple Toasties

🧀 Cheddar & Apple Toasties


Warm, familiar, and easy to make — perfect for a light lunch or happy hour snack.

Ingredients:

  • Sliced sourdough or sandwich bread

  • Shredded sharp cheddar

  • Thinly sliced apple (Honeycrisp or Fuji work well)

  • Butter


Instructions:

  1. Lightly butter one side of each bread slice.

  2. Place apple slices and shredded cheddar between two slices, buttered sides out.

  3. Toast in a skillet on medium until golden and melty.

  4. Slice and serve warm.


Pairs With: Ste. Chapelle 1.5L — especially the Soft Red or Riesling for a sweet-savory combo.

  2. Pour in wine, then top with Truly.
